Sunday

In the last three months I've learned exactly how selfish people can be. I've learned to decipher between those who choose to help for the greater good, and those who appear to help for no other reason to than to make themselves feel like a better person.

In all. Good people are few and far between. That's a sad thing, folks. Very sad.

The next time you're "helping" someone, make sure it's them you have in mind, and not yourself. The gains you aquire when you help for the greater good will get you that warm fuzzy feeling you're looking for AS WELL AS make the world a better place.

For my family:

"How true Daddy's words were when he said: all children must look after their own upbringing. Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands."

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."

"I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart."

All three quotes belong to Anne Frank. I believe she was correct. There's still good in this world... but it's becoming harder to find.

If you've managed to find even one person who is selfless in this great  big world, hold onto him/her dearly, for these are truly life's treasures.

In other news. Pictures. Because I like them and they make me happy.
